Volvo Key Fob Troubleshooting
Volvo drivers love their key fob's convenient remote that comes with features. They can lock and unlock their vehicle as well as start the motor and even locate it via an app for smartphones.

You can activate this feature with the key fob in case your car is equipped with a dealer-installed Engine Remote Start. The vehicle will be able to cool or heat at the same temperature that it was set to when it was parked. It can last for up to 15 minutes.
Utilizing a fingernail to carefully remove the cover on the back of the key fob. Under the cover and on a diagonal at the body's edge, you'll find an unidentified button. Take it off by sliding it downwards and to the right. The cover will come loose, and then slide away to reveal the manual blade! If you are unable to locate the button, search the newly revealed manual key access for a hidden lever or slot.
Close the Windows

Turning off the Alarm

Set out your keys batteries, keys, and other keys on a clean surface. Find the small black button at the lower left corner of the key fob and slide it to the right. The cover will begin to loosen and fall off and reveal the mechanical key blade beneath it.
Press the key fob's unlock button two times quickly, and you will be able opening all the doors, as well as the tailgate. By pressing the lock button for two seconds, you can close the windows and the sunroof in the event that they're equipped. Reconnect the battery, and the alarm should stop.
